This week we've been learning about the ocean habitat and animals that live in it. Here are students using iPads to create pictures of ocean animals. Students were using an App called Doodle Buddy and were completely engaged! They were able to choose a background picture, tools to draw with, and select colors for their pictures. I have a classroom of artists!

Our Fall Season PBL continued this week with students going on a leaf hunt! We went outside and collected a variety of leaves that we found around our school. Then, we took the leaves back to the classroom and used magnifying glasses to observes the lines, textures, shapes, and sizes of the different leaves. The kids got a kick out of seeing the leaves up close!
Today the class went outside to observe the fall season. We used our senses to describe how different things look, feel, smell, and sound like. Then, we recorded our observations into categories of what we saw with our eyes, felt with our hands, smelled with our noses, and heard with our ears. It was the perfect day to be outside!
