This year JMC chose to do a spin off of Red Ribbon Week. Good Choices was our theme and it's focus was centered around making the positive choice to love yourself, eat healthy, be kind, love your body and do your best in school. On Unity Day, Mrs. Butcher and Miss Jacqui lead an assembly that had students engaging in activities that required teamwork and good decision making. Students also watched the video, Spookly the Square Pumpkin, which shared the message of kindness and accepting others who are different. It was so nice to see students showing their school spirit and putting forth the effort to make good choices each day!
